About the Job

Seniors Community Care has an exciting opening for an experienced Coordinator to join our team as a Rostering Coordinator within the provision of services. This role is integral to the successful delivery of services to clients of community based care services.

In this position you will act as a first point of contact for clients, their carers, case managers and referral organisations. Your role includes intake of referrals, coordinating services, ensuring that times available, required tasks and duties and necessary equipment are satisfactory and understood by all relevant parties. You will also be responsible for consumer allocation and rostering a high volume of services.

To play a significant role in this community based organisation, you will be a values driven coordinator, meet all rostering time lines and consumer expectations, be able to work within a dynamic and fast paced environment, provide excellent and timely documentation, and advanced IT skills who enjoys working part of a team and maintaining close working relationships with staff and consumers.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Strong office based administration and documentation skills
  • Ability to work across a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Rostering experience, preferably for community services
  • Community based service experience
  • Proven ability to prioritise and multi-task, and achieve deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Ability to maintain consumer and carer confidentiality
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Capacity to identify and report occupational health and safety issues
  • Proven computer application skills including windows based software programs
  • Current National Police Record Check and Working with Children’s card
